Discrete fractional Krawtchouk transform and its application in image encryption and watermarking

Abstract: 

As an important technique in signal processing field, transform has been proposed to describe signal for the purpose of signal analysis tasks. Taking the digital image for example, which can be treated as the two dimensional signal, its transform domain can be considered as projection of the signal on a set of basis function. The signal transform domain can obtain implicit information of the signal. According to multifarious basis functions, there are various transforms frequently applied by engineers and mathematicians in signal processing applications, such as invariant feature extraction, image segmentation, image encryption, image watermarking, signal reconstruction, and image enhancement.  This report will introduce a series of fractional transform extended by Krawtchouk orthogonal function. More specifically, fractional Krawtchouk transform and quaternion fractional Krawtchouk tranform will be introduced with their application in image encryption and watermarking.

刘西林,博士,太原理工大学大数据学院讲师,2010年本科毕业于东华理工大学信息与计算科学专业,2013年硕士毕业于东华理工大学计算数学专业。主要从事分数阶变换、信息隐藏、多媒体安全等方面的研究。
