Time-fractional differential equations represent an important class of mathematical models with a broad range of practical applications. The related inverse problems of recovering parameters in the models have received much recent attention. In this talk, I will survey some recent results on canonical inverse problems for time-fractional models, illustrated with numerical results, and I will also point out some open questions.
